King's Football Announces 2024 Schedule

The King's College football program is coming off two stellar seasons on the turf and looks to continue its new standard of excellence in the 2024 season. Under the direction of first year Head Coach Mike Cebrosky, the Monarch football program is set for the upcoming slate and unveiled its regular-season schedule on Monday morning.

The season will open for the second consecutive year with the highly-anticipated historic rivalry in the annual Mayor's Cup game with cross-town foe Wilkes University. King's is set to host this year's match up at McCarthy Stadium under the lights at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7.

King's continues its home stand to open the season as they begin their Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) campaign against Misericordia on September 14 before taking on Alvernia in their first road test on September 21. The Monarchs come back to Wilkes-Barre the following weekend for their Homecoming and Family Weekend contest against Widener on September 28 at 1:00 p.m.

After observing their bye week on October 5, King's hits the road for their first ever trip to Eastern on October 12. The Monarchs are then scheduled to host their lone home contest in the month of October against Lebanon Valley on October 19 before traveling to FDU-Florham to wrap up their October slate on October 26.

The month of November will see the Monarchs in front of their home crowd as they take on reigning MAC Champions in Delaware Valley on November 2. The final two regular-season match ups include a trip to Reading to face Albright on November 9 and the season finale at McCarthy Stadium against Stevenson on November 16.

The 2024 Centennial-MAC Bowl Series is scheduled for November 23 with the top seed and third seed from the MAC set to host their contests and the second seed on the road at the Centennial's top seed.
