Timothy A. Kulpa, D.A.T.

Biography
Timothy A. Kulpa, D.A.T., LAT, ATC, NASM-CES, is the Clinical Education Coordinator for the Master of Science in Athletic Training Program and a clinical professor and athletic trainer at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He teaches Practicum I - IV, Head, Neck and Spine, and Evidence Based Medicine I and II in the MSAT Program and Anatomy and Physiology in the Exercise Science Program.
Dr. Kulpa earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Ithaca College in 2004. He earned a Master of Science in Athletic Training from West Virginia University in 2006 where he was a graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Women’s Basketball Team. He earned his Doctor of Athletic Training at Temple University in 2018. Tim is a Licensed Athletic Trainer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and earned his Corrective Exercise Specialist certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
He currently serves the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers’ Society on the free communications committee and as the Luzerne County Representative to the Board of Directors. He has presented internationally, nationally, regionally, and on the state and local level on concussion management and rehabilitation and has published in this area as well. His other research interests include best practices in clinical education delivery and assessment.
