Miroslaw "Mirek" Babiarz

Biography
Miroslaw “Mirek” Babiarz, MS, CSCS, RSCC*D, USAW, NASM-PES, is a strength and conditioning coach with extensive experience across various sports, including the UFC, Rugby Europe, UEFA, NCAA, and both Summer and Winter Olympics. Since 2021, he has served as the Director of Strength and Conditioning for the Polish Rugby Union, supporting the men's national team's performance. He has also recently worked with Poland's national weightlifting men’s and women’s teams. His previous positions include Director of Strength and Conditioning at the University of Redlands and Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Temple University and Mercer County College.
In 2016, Mirek co-founded and directed the Strength and Conditioning Education Center (SCEC) in Gdynia, training elite athletes like 5-time UFC champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk, along with professional teams in basketball, handball, football, and rugby. With experience in more than 30 sports he holds several leadership roles such as CSO of the International Rugby Strength and Conditioning Association (IRSCA), CSO of the Weightlifting World Academy, and the Executive Committee Chair of the NSCA Rugby SIG.
Mirek holds a master's degree in kinesiology from Temple University and has authored multiple best selling books. Mirek is a CSCS certified and a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach with Distinction (RSCC *D) as well as Performance Enhancement Specialist by NASM and United States Weightlifting Federation - Sport Performance Coach Level 1. In 2005, he was named NSCA All American Athlete of the Year, having played collegiate and professional basketball in Poland.
