Mike Little, Ph.D., earned his Ph.D. from Texas A&M in 2004 with a focus on late 20th century American literature. While completing his doctorate he worked as a technical writer and instructional designer for the Emergency Services Training Institute; his academic and professional backgrounds support his teaching in literature (with special interest in postmodernism, science fiction, and Southern gothic) and professional writing classes. Outside the classroom, his interests include baking, theatre, playing the bass, and he can tear down and rebuild your lawnmower if you're having trouble with it.
