King's awards tenure to 4 faculty members
Four King's College faculty members were recently granted tenure by the College’s Board of Directors. Granted tenure and promoted to associate professor were Dr. Julie Belanger, chemistry, Dr. Dan Clasby, history, Dr. Gerardo Giordano, physics, and Dr. Tom Mackaman, history.
Mailloux named chair of King's College Nursing Program
Dr. Cynthia Mailloux, who has more than 30 years of nursing education experience, has been appointed chair of the Dual 1-2-1 Bachelor of Nursing Program at King’s College. King’s is collaborating on the program, which is expected to welcome its first class in August 2018, with Luzerne County Community College (LCCC).

King’s College to host first Creative Writing Conference
King’s College will offer diverse writing workshops, roundtable discussions, and open readings as part of the first Creative Writing Conference on Friday, March 24, and Saturday, March 25, on the College’s campus in Wilkes-Barre. The conference is sponsored by the English Department and King’s Campion Society, a student organization dedicated to writing.
