November 14, 2018 - The English as a Second Language (ESL) Program sponsored by King’s College’s Hispanic Outreach Program has the highest enrollment of students since the program was implemented in 2007.

The program was established to serve the growing Hispanic and minority population in the surrounding area.

The Hispanic Outreach Program currently offers three levels of ESL classes; basic, beginner, and Intermediate. Each level takes an average of three semesters to complete. Some students can advance more rapidly depending on their progress.  Upon initial registration to the program, perspective students are given an oral exam and a diagnostic test to determine placement level.

Registration information is available on the Program’s facebook page @KingsCollegePAHOP. The cost of the class is $100 per semester due at the time of registration. Classes are held Monday-Thursday from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Free childcare is offered for children between the ages of 6-12 of parents registered in ESL classes.   Additional information is available by contacting the King’s College Hispanic Outreach Program at (570)208-8021.
