The Monsignor Andrew J. McGowan Hispanic Scholarship was initiated in 2008 with funding from the McGowan Charitable Fund.   Today, King’s College continues to offer this scholarship through the College’s scholarship programming.  Two scholarships are awarded annually.

The Monsignor Andrew J. McGowan Hispanic Scholarship is a four-year, full-tuition, room and board Scholarship. Applicants must be first generation college students of Hispanic Heritage who have applied to and been accepted for admission at King's College by February 1st. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA or higher, demonstrate financial need as determine by the FAFSA, and reside in Northeast Pennsylvania.
