The New Student Portal is a central place where students new to King’s College go to complete/access the following:

  • Student Questionnaire

The Student Questionnaire contains questions pertaining to your major, preferred class times, intercollegiate athletics, and other pertinent topics. We also ask you to rank various first-year course offerings in order of your interest. The Questionnaire should only take 15 minutes to complete, but please take your time and answer the questions thoughtfully and honestly.

  • Placement Tests

King's College requires all new students to complete a set of online placement tests in the New Student Portal. These tests will allow academic advisors place you in the mathematics, writing, and/or language course that is consistent with your ability. • Student Health Forms

King's College requires all new students to provide proof of college and state-mandated health requirements.

  • New Student Orientation Registration

Students may register for their preferred date for New Student Orientation through the New Student Portal.

  • Initial Set-up for King's College E-mail

It is important for all King's students to set-up a King's email account. By doing so, you will begin to receive valuable information that will allow you to transition effortlessly to college. Checking your King's email frequently will ensure you receive all information in a timely manner and avoid potential delays in processing your forms for registration, housing, and health services to name just a few. Your King's E-mail account and instructions on how to access it will be included in the letter from the Academic Advisement Office.

Before you can access this portal, you will need your username and temporary password provided in a letter sent by the Academic Advisement Office. As new students submit their enrollment deposit*, this letter is sent on a weekly basis beginning on the dates listed below. Students will not be registered for classes until they complete their placement tests. Delaying completion of the Placement Tests will limit the class options available to you.
